South India

Although South India was pretty far from Gurgaon, I managed to go there twice during the six months I spent in India. My first trip was a birthday treat - a holiday in Goa and Kerala. The second time, I went to Mumbai and Goa for Christmas. It takes two hours to fly from Delhi to Mumbai, about another two hours from Mumbai to Goa and then it's a 17-hour train ride from Goa to Kerala. That did not stop me from coming here, and the effort was worth it. The climate and landscape, as well as the people, is very different down in the South.
